My First Academy: Montessori and afterschool Students only

8/13 -  Rooster natural clay slab based on Pablo Picasso’s painting; “Bob” book
8/20 -  Multimedia folk art style rooster painting on wood
8/27 -  Lion painting inspired by Henri Rousseau; Facts about Lions
9/10 -  Continue with watercolor background with oil pastel Lion
9/17 -  Introduction to Art Nouveau’s Gustav Klimt and his portraits; “Klimt and his cat” book
9/24  -  Klimt inspired fabric and gold painting with a photo
10/1  -  Introduction to Modern art, Jackson Pollack.  and “Lavender”
10/8  -  Outdoor splattering/painting using their personal name
10/22 - Pumpkin painting with Vincent Van Gogh brush stokes

Wednesdays: Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (3:00 to 4:00 pm)
